Horses, Carriages, a High Tea & Fish and Chips

Yesterday, we visited the Royal Mews and a fan-favorite, Fortnum & Mason, for a high tea!

First, we took the buses today and while not as iconic as the underground, they are a great way to see more of London while traveling. Our first stop was near Buckingham Palace, The Royal Mews where the royal coaches, horses and cars are stored and maintained. It was beautiful, opulent and iconic. I do wish there were more horses on-site, but it was still a great visit.

After our adventure to the Royal Mews, we went to one of our favorite stores, Fortnum & Mason. We shopped, had a great time and then, enjoyed one of our favorite past-times of a high team. Fortnum & Mason does such a great job with their tea bringing you more tea and any of the various food items they offer. We had a great time and I loved showing our family that had never been this wonderful experience. I do have to say that the tariffs made our shopping experience much more difficult, but that is not the fault of Fortnum & Mason.

We finished the night at Poppie’s for our favorite fish & chips. Overall, another amazing day!
