Yesterday, we ventured out to the Tower of London to see all that glitters! Then, we partied the night away at Mamma Mia!

First, we visited the Tower of London which is the fortress that is still active in London. We battled the very strong winds and occasional rain to see the Crown Jewels which were spectacular to behold, even after seeing them twice before. Such a huge amount of history and beauty wrapped in one.

It was also amazing to experience the prison tower and the torture exhibit and see the breadth of history.

After a short rest and a change of clothes, we went to see Mamma Mia! Many of us in the group are ABBA fans and really had to try hard not to sing along. It was an evening of wonderful music, great voices and a fumbled together story line. (LOL) We had a great time and our favorite actress was Mazz Murray who played Donna. She was a powerhouse!
